35 AVL Devices Purchased with Funds Raised Via the UNITED24 Arrived at Emergency Medical Facilities

In total, during the first three weeks, $43,697,282 was raised via the UNITED24. $1,032,972 (UAH 30,215,400) was transferred to the Ministry of Health. UAH 26.5 million was allocated to the procurement of 35 artificial lung ventilation (ALV) devices.

“We are currently assisting the emergency services of four neighboring regions: Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts,” says Radiy Shevchenko, director of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Emergency Care and Disaster Medicine. “We are ready to save everyone who needs help without hesitation. “I will never forget how on April 8, 2022, we immediately went to the city of Kramatorsk to help evacuate the victims of the explosion at the railway station to Dnipro. ALVs are required to transport the patients in critical condition, and I am grateful that we are now receiving them thanks to the UNITED24 platform.”

New equipment is sent to emergency and disaster medicine centers in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions of Ukraine.
