On December 21, the world’s most popular locations will turn off their lights as a sign of solidarity with Ukraine.
The Colosseum, Sydney Opera House, European Parliament building in Brussels, Scottish Parliament building in Edinburgh, Paris and Porto City Halls, the Christmas trees near the Rockefeller Center in New York, and in London, on Trafalgar Square… As well as in Prague, Riga, Sofia, Wroclaw, Turku, Vilnius, the famous Toronto CN Tower — over 60 iconic locations will turn off the lights today as a sign of solidarity with the people of Ukraine. They call on the visitors to support #LightUpUkraine and join the fundraiser for generators to power Ukrainian hospitals via UNITED24.
We thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the international parliamentary coalition, United for Ukraine, for partnering with us for this extraordinary project.
